Hogarth survives ‘Judgement Day’

Hogarth participates in a 'gruelling obstacle race like no other' to fundraise for SportsAid.

Hogarth Judgement Day

Hogarth is one of the official charity partners of SportsAid. On 26th April 2014 we sent 40 Hogarth staff members to take part in SportsAid’s ‘Judgement Day’ event. Hogarth raised over £7,000 via a series of fundraising events and sponsorship of the race participants.

Ten teams representing Hogarth took to the start line for a gruelling obstacle race like no other.
Details of the race were kept closely under wraps prior to the event, where teams battled the elements over a 10-mile course (located in the British Special Forces’ urban warfare training facility on Salisbury Plain).

The race was a great success with all ten teams making it over the finish line (most of them in one piece). SportsAid athletes Lauren Bleaken and Alex Chantler-Mayne were there to cheer on the participants. Hogarth managed to raise a significant proportion of the £8,000 that SportsAid received in donations on the day.

SportsAid CEO Tim Lawler said – “On behalf of everyone at SportsAid, a huge thank you to you and your Hogarth colleagues. This sort of commitment is the absolute essence of ‘I will’ and will help us to help others to help us too.”

Hogarth is very proud of the effort made by its staff to support SportsAid, from the fund raising activities to race day itself. We look forward to taking part in future SportAid events.
